Happy Wednesday.... and a little stamping

Happy Wednesday everyone. Here in the NE were bracing for a little ice, freezing rain and snow over night. Needless to say, I'll be homebound for the next few days...

Recovering has been tougher than I expected. I just can't get used to the sheer exhaustion. But from what I understand, that too will pass....

I've managed to venture up to my stamp room and have been wanting to try a little dry embossing with my cuttlebug. This idea was cased from Sharon way back in December. Here's my take on dry embossing...

I have quite a few people who have been so gracious and supportive of me through my surgery that I wanted to make some cards to send them to show my appreciation.. All cards were made with Stampers Select White Card stock by PTI and are stamped in the Palette Hybrid Noir ink.

This first card uses the flower embossing folder, light pink grosgrain ribbon (SUP) and the sentiment is from Mike's dollar bin...

These next 2 cards both use the fancy corner's embossing folders, clear bling bling and Stampin Up ribbon.. Both sentiments are from Stampin Up.

Please tell me, what techniques have you seen while surfing the blogs that you've been wanting to try but just haven't done so yet???????

These are so beautiful and only goes to prove that less in more. I have only been on your blog for a short while, but I hope you are taking it easy. Just take it one day at a time!
