I find the best stuff at "Tuesday Mornings" when I'm just running in for something. Yesterday I was looking for more of my large mason jars (the one's I used for my ribbons) that were only 3.99 each to put my pasta in (one of the few things I did accomplish on vacation was to clean out my pantry and cupboards).. I didn't find the same jars, but look what I did find. These large memo cubes from Lizzy somebody.. Whoops, I threw away the wrappings.. These are fabulous. The inside paper matches the baroque background stamp...
The cube itself is 6"x4" so the top piece of blue bayou card stock is 8 1/2" x 4" scored at 6" and 7 1/4". I then cut a separate piece of blue bayou for the back that is 6" x 4".. By covering it in 2 separate pieces it covers very nicely. The designer paper is by one of my fave's "Cosmo Cricket".. I've found that many of their lines are 'shabby chic' which is what I love. I then decorated my very vanilla card stock using... (Stamp) Baroque Motiffs & French Background.. (Ink) Blue Bayou, Really Rust, River Rock and Buckaroo Blue. The edges are distressed with River Rock as well. Jewel dots in red and gold along with the word "Notes" were added using script rubons from Wal-Mart. A Very Vanilla bow was added in the 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and look how it turned out. I just love it and it looks fabulous on my desk at work..

What a pretty memo cube :)
Wow - what a great project. You did a super job. We don't have a Tuesday Morning near me. I'm thinking there is one in Schenectady - near the old mall? I'll have to check it out. Great find!
