This was a fun journal I found at Wal-mart.. Using my spiral punch the paper fits perfectly over the spiral binding of the journal. The ds paper I used was Graham Cracker by Webster Papers. I then added chocolate chip card stock, another layering of the Graham Cracker and then Whisper White. The Whisper White is stamped with swirls from Ronna Farrer in close to cocoa, chocolate chip and creamy caramel. Whoops, I almost forgot... when I was all done with the Whisper White I distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad in "Walnut Stain". Next came the flower chipboard from Maya Road (Vinyard Collection).. These were do fun to do.. Two were colored by sponging on chocolate chip refill ink.. The other was colored with my Rangers Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dauber in light blue. I then colored the swirl (also from Maya Road) in light green (again the AAPD).. Now came the fun part. Once they were dried, I stamped versa mark on each of the chip boards and sprinkled them with glassy glaze embossing enamel.. For the centers I added a jumbo eyelet to each.. 2 were pewter and 1 is floral.. It was a little tricky embossing these because of their size (I actually stuck them on my paper snips so that I didn't burn my fingers) .. But once they were done.. WOW... check out how they came out.. Journal was added in misc. rub~ons I had in my collection.. Before I adhered the layers to the actual journal I added 3 jumbo eyelets.. 2 in pewter and 1 that says Memories.. I just L-O-V-E how this came out.. Don't you?
