Show me the money !!

Ok, so I'm not Jerry McGuire... and it's not money... But it is good stuff...Can anyone tell me.. WHAT IS BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE.. and don't say nothing, because there are times although far and few between that there are a few things better than chocolate. I'm hoping this is one of those times. It's BLOG CANDY TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So did you figure out what on earth I could possibly be giving away this time? Let me remind you what the clues were..
Clue #1...... It has to do with a boy's name and a girls name.. Both have the same initial...
Clue #2.... It involves.. an ankle bracelet....
Any takers... Well here it is..
(This is especially for those of you who have been waiting to see the goods before you posted your comment).

I just went to
Michael's (here's your boy's name) and picked up a few Martha Stewart (here's your girl's name.. and hmm the ankle bracelet too.. I never said it was a fashionable ankle bracelet).. Goodies for you. I hope you all love the colors. These are my faves so of course I had to get 2 of everything so that I could keep 1 for myself. The winner will receive a roll of aqua twill ribbon, chocolate twill ribbon, aqua & chocolate ribbon, a tube of glitter glue, a jar of green aggregate (I think I spelt that correctly) glitter, two stamps I quick grabbed as I was heading for the checkout counter and... I grabbed us each and every one of Martha's Free project ideas.. So now that you've seen what you have a chance to win... I told ya it would be a good one!!!!! Rush over here and post a fond memory of your grandmother. You only have until this Sunday at noon to get those comments posted.

And oh by the way.. I'm over 1000 hits already. I hope you all enjoy my blog. PS.. this is already my 50th post.

Love the candy! An ankle bracelet is the icing on the cake! I was thinking your hint was Michaels and Joann's. Thanks!

Love the candy. I need to head over to Michaels to take a look. I used to cook with my Grandma. She would let me pour and stir as she watched over me. Thanks for the memories!

Sounds like a fun trip! Love the candy! I was into M's and fell in love with the glitter - so many pretty, twinkly colours....

I have so many happy memories of my grandmother, but one that sticks out is when she invited me out to visit during Reading Week during my second year of university. It was a tough slog that year and I was getting stressed out between courses and my job. Reading Week fell during the middle of February, a pretty bleak time of year in Edmonton. It was a wonderful thing to visit my grandparents in Victoria, where spring had sprung and daffodils bloomed and I came home rested and rejuvenated. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

We had a wonderful "Nanna"!! She lived for her grandchildren. I have a brother 3 yrs younger and twin cousins 1 year younger than me. She would have all four of us over for the week-end, took us all to the beach for a month, and lots of other great adventures. I see all those wonderful traits in my own daughter (who is now a grandmother) and she never even knew Nanna; unfortunately Nanna died just a month before my daughter was born, so she never had the chance to be a great-grandmother - aren't I lucky that I am one (to four great youngsters)!!

Oh how I loved my grandma. I think something I look back on with so much fondness is when I use to go stay with her and we would pick the wild blackberries. We would take them back to the house and she would get everything ready to make a pie (YUUUMMMY) I had my own cooking items too, a little aluminum pie tin, rolling pin and everything. Grandma always use to use the extra crust and roll it out and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, bake them OMG was that ever good. We would have vanilla ice cream with the pie............Oh how I miss my grandma, it just doesn't seem possible that she has been gone for almost 14 years. Thanks for the memories. Awesome blog candy too!!

Awesome candy - love those colors. My grandmother was a wonderful crafter. She would learn how to make things from her friends, like a rocking chair from wood clothespins, then teach us grandkids how to make them. She was such a patient teacher. I really miss that.
